The Ardusat crew had fun with a Tinker Crate project

The IR Sensor from the DemoSat was pointed at a glass of water to take temperature readings. Once a 50/50 mix of baking soda and citric acid are poured into the water, a chemical reaction releases CO2 and cools down the water. The Ardusat Experiment Platform records the data which shows us the water temperature going down 2-3 degrees celsius.

Finally, we use the chemical reaction to launch a small rocket! Really fun activity.
